Aethusa-cyn [Aeth]
Aphthae in mouth and throat; tongue feels as if too long; sensation of pungent heat in mouth and throat, with great difficulty in swallowing; stinging in throat between the acts of deglutition.
Arsenicum [Ars]
Aphthae become livid and bluish, with great prostration; thrush in mouth and fauces; painful blisters in mouth and on tongue.
Arum-triph [Arum-t]
Superficial ulceration; tumefaction of lips; catarrhal burning and biting sensation in mouth and throat.
Baptisia [Bapt]
Gums ulcerated, loose, dark red or purple; filthy taste with flow of saliva; cracked, sore, ulcerated tongue.
Borax [Bor]
Aphthae of children and of old people, in mouth and inner surface of check, salivation; great heat and dryness of mouth; pains, especially when chewing.
Eupatorium-arom [Eup-a]
A family and household remedy which needs proving.
Hydrastis [Hydr]
Follicular and catarrhal ulcers, with exceedingly tenacious mucus in mouth; aphthous sore mouth; tongue foul and coated with thick white fur.
Iodum [Iod]
Aphthous ulcers in mouth, with putrid smell; profuse foetid salivation, not (>) by washing mouth.
Mercurius [Merc]
Ulcerated gums, tongue and cheeks; foetid breath; burning pain, (<) at night.
Muriatic-acid [Mur-ac]
Gums swollen, bleeding, ulcerated; teeth loose; deep ulcers in tongue with black bases and vesicles; mouth as if glued up with insipid mucus; foul breath.
Nitric-acid [Nit-ac]
After abuse of Mercury; foetid and acrid saliva which causes sores on lips, chin and cheeks; teeth yellow and loose; ulceration of tongue with tough ropy mucus.
Phytolacca [Phyt]
Small ulcers on inside of right cheek, very painful; he cannot chew on that side; burnt feeling on back part of tongue; profuse, thick, ropy salivation.
Plumbum [Plb]
Aphthae, dirty-looking ulcers and purple blotches in mouth and on tip of tongue; sweetish frothy saliva.
Staphisagria [Staph]
Mouth and tongue full of blisters; painful excrescences on inside of cheeks; gums ulcerated, spongy, bleeding; foetid breath.
Sulphuric-acid [Sul-ac]
Aphthous mouth and gums; yellowish and painful; talking difficult, as from want of elasticity of the parts; great weakness; ecchymoses.
