Homeopathic information

 Use of the internet is not very widespread and extensive use is not possible due to the high telecommunication fees. This fact, plus poor knowledge of English, hinder many from sharing in the rich, English on-line information on homeopathy, or any English language information in general.
 Practically every piece of information has to be translated and this causes high prices and is time consuming as well. So the main problem is quantity and quality of translated literature. We have the following books translated into the Czech language in various degrees of translated quality: Hahnemann´s Organon; Kent´s Repertory and Lectures on MM; Boericke´s MM; Allen´s Keynotes; Vithoulkas´s Science of Homeopathy; Hubbard-Wright´s A Brief Study Course in Homeopathy; Sankaran´s Soul of Remedies; Synthesis Repertory; Sehgal´s Rediscovery of Homeopathy; Smits´s MM for the Consulting Room. Americans might be interested to note that articles from The Homeopathic Recorder by Hayes were published as well. There are also some black market copies and translations.
 For advanced homeopaths it is necessary to translate some of the larger materia medicas, such as by Clarke or T.F.  Allen; to consult with. Boericke or Kent are not enough for unusual and difficult cases or to break the chronic complaints with the descriptions of remedies in brief materia medicas. But the obvious circulation of 500 copies does not allow for translation and publication of those books at reasonable prices. The average disposable income of homeopaths themselves is limited, due to the cost of purchasing remedies, literature (if they can read it), subscriptions to foreign magazines, etc.
 Several magazines (about five) are published by societies and associations. It is interesting that the Czech edition of Homeopathic LINKS is published here (by the way, very well translated). Annual subscription in the Czech language is about US$20 - compared with US$ 65 to subscribe to the original version. The magazine Regulacni medicina is sent to subscribers of Homoeopathic LINKS and is devoted to acupuncture and other alternative kinds of medicine. This magazine would welcome quality translations of articles from foreign magazines and other quality sources of homeopathic information.
