Gastric Ulcer:

Neglect of severe acidity for a long time causes ulcers in the stomach &/or intestine.The presence of ulcers is confirmed when the patient is sent for investigations like barium meal X-rays or gastroscopy. These are usually done when a patient of acidity presents with severe upper abdominal pains or vomiting with presence of blood.Ulcers could perforate the stomach wall causing a danger to one's life or cause cancer in the long run. Hence, treatment needs to be started once the presence of an ulcer is known. Timely treatment can prevent surgery which might involve cutting off of a portion of the stomach.Homeopathy offers better treatment for the prevention as well as cure of gastric ulcer.
